Small guest bathroom renovation

UWS couple was in desperate need of a facelift for their small second full bath.
BEFORE:
AFTER: I brought the mirror in away from the side walls just a bit for a more custom look- tile surround seemed to open the space up rather than wall-to-wall mirror. Adding a floating shelf also helped to float the mirror.

BEFORE:

AFTER: oversized tiles = less grout lines and larger areas for your eye to rest.  This helps to expand an otherwise small space.  The vertical element is used to bring your eye up (high ceilings) rather than bisecting the room by running it horizontally.

BEFORE:

AFTER:  When we opened the wall to the right we uncovered a hidden closet!  It wasn't usable since it was in the shower stall but we took advantage of the space by adding large, deep shower nooks for storage.  This helps to keep the shower bench clean and clutter free.
